LEW LEWIS - NIGHT TALK (1978)

Lew Lewis was brought up on the same Canvey Island street as Lee Brilleaux who taught lewis to play harmonica. He became a member of Eddie & The Hot Rods and performed on their first two singles but left after falling out with management. He was also guest on several albums including The Stranglers "Black & White", Kirsty MacColl's "Desperate Character" and The Clash's "Sandinista".
In 1978 Lewis was given a seven-year jail sentence for armed robbery, after holding up a post office with a fake pistol, stealing £5000 and trying to escape on a push bike.
